Hamilton Southern Links
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency · Waikato
Hamilton Southern Links — a network of new and upgraded roads south of Hamilton connecting SH1, SH3 and SH21 and serving the growing Peacocke area. Reinstated as a Road of National Significance; the NZTA Board endorsed the investment case (which recommends tolling), with a benefit-cost ratio of ~1.9 un-tolled and ~14 minutes of travel-time savings between Tamahere and western Hamilton. To be built in stages over multiple NLTP periods as construction funding becomes available. (The separate Hamilton Ring Road was completed earlier.)
