SH1 Rolleston Access Improvements
NZ Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) · Canterbury
A $125m NZ Upgrade Programme project improving access at Rolleston (Selwyn — NZ's fastest-growing district), part of the government's wider SH1 Rolleston roading programme. A ~7km stretch of works centred on a flyover over SH1 linking Rolleston township to its industrial area: removal of the Hoskyns Rd and Rolleston Drive North signalised intersections (with the southbound motorway lanes extended south of the bridge), a new SH1/Dunns Crossing Rd/Walkers Rd roundabout, a southbound local service lane, and Weedons Rd interchange improvements. Complements (and is distinct from) the SH1 Christchurch Southern Motorway extension reaching Rolleston. Under construction.
